Welcome!

Hi! I’m Dr. Angela Koenig, a board-certified gynecologist and regional pelvic health specialist. For the past 10 years I have had the privilege of caring for women with some of the most complex and often misunderstood conditions within gynecology — chronic pelvic pain, vulvovaginal disorders, and sexual health concerns. I have also partnered with hundreds of women through their menopause and midlife journeys. These are conditions that affect women profoundly, and yet they are too often undertreated, dismissed, or managed in the brief margins of a busy schedule.

I believe deeply that care for these concerns requires something that our current healthcare environment makes difficult to protect: time. Time to listen to a full history. Time to explain a diagnosis with care. Time to sit with a patient in the complexity of her experience rather than rushing toward the next exam room. Time for questions and follow up visits.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine and guided by trauma-informed care, appreciating how these conditions touch every part of a woman's life. I am drawn to the kind of practice where the relationship between physician and patient is a genuine partnership — where a woman feels truly heard, and she is cared for as a whole person, rather than just her diagnosis.

I am currently thinking carefully about what that kind of practice looks like and how to build it. If you are interested in a different kind of healthcare experience, and would like to stay in touch as my thinking evolves, I would be glad to have you join my email list. Thank you for visiting. Take care.

Sincerely,

Dr. Koenig
